The Baldwin Park Woman’s Club is part of the San Gabriel Valley District (SGVD), which is part of the California Federation of Women’s Clubs (CFWC), which is part of the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs (GFWC). The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international organization dedicated to improving local communities through volunteer service. Members embody Living the Volunteer Spirit. Visit gfwc.org for more information on this nationwide organization!
Our local club is made up of residents mostly who reside in Baldwin Park, but we also have members who reside in La Puente, Covina, West Covina, Hacienda Heights, Rancho Cucamonga, Lake Elsinore and Moreno Valley. Many of the long-distance members were a part of the Baldwin Park community and while they reside elsewhere now, they have stayed connected to the club in Baldwin Park. If you have a connection to this community by residence, business ownership or as a legacy member, you are welcome to be a part of our mission of service.
We started as a club in 1906, and we are the longest serving community organization in support of the Baldwin Park community. Within the San Gabriel Valley District we are also part of Area B, a part of the California Federation of Woman’s Clubs. As a member of both the CFWC and SGVD we have great opportunities to network with other clubs and members at councils, conventions and events. Visit sgvd.org for more information on the San Gabriel Valley District.
